Mortgage Loan Originator
Job Summary: This position is responsible for the proactive origination of residential mortgage loans within the market assigned. To prospect and follow-up in order to increase one’s pipeline and the overall mortgage business and profitability of the bank. This person is responsible to the customer for the loan from application through until closing, and as a result needs a solid knowledge and understanding of the entire mortgage process. This is a proactive sales position requiring routine and regular sales calls on prospective referral sources.
Education, Skills and Experience: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of two years mortgage lending experience and/or equivalent sales experience.
