Mortgage Loan Processor
JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for entering mortgage loan data into financial institution computer system with appropriate updating; assembles and verifies mortgage loan documents for accuracy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION: 1. Responsible for inputting mortgage loan information. 2. Prepares files for underwriters and investors. 3. Responsible for maintaining the mortgage files. 4. Ensures that residential loan files contain documents with proper signatures, dates and other relevant data. 5. Perform assigned responsibilities in compliance with all job-relevant legal and regulatory requirements. 6. Maintain current operating knowledge of all job-relevant legal and regulatory requirements through the successful completion of mandatory compliance and regulatory training and attendance at all mandatory regulatory compliance activities.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Responsible for providing administrative assistance to the Loan Officer and staff. 2. Assembles and verifies accuracy of residential loan documentation. 3. Answers both telephone and written inquiries concerning loan processing and information. 4. Handles the post closing follow-up for recorded DIT, final title policies, etc. 5. Balances the mortgage interoffice account. 6. Handles the construction draw requests.
