Loan Operations System Administrator
Job Summary: Provide loan systems administrative support for the Jack Henry core loan system and the Exception Advisor – Banker Hill loan collateral system. Create and manage various Query/Cognos loan reports as needed. Participates as a member in bank and or branch conversions/acquisitions as a loan operation representative. This position may require travel to various branch locations and possible travel associated with loan systems conferences and training, which may require overnight stays.
Essential Functions: Operations- Loan system administrator for Exception Advisor, providing support o bank wide users; add/delete users, re-set user passwords, add new product and status codes. Create various collateral tracking reports in the Exception Advisor system. Loan system administrator for SilverLake/Jack Henry core processing system, including but not limited to loan parameter management and implement necessary system enhancement/releases including testing. Maintain Master Rate table changes on SilverLake loan system. Process mass loan file maintenance as needed for lender and branch changes and all other loan system maintenances. Create and maintain various loan Query/Cognos reports as requested for Loan Operations and bank wide lender needs. Complete direct communications to Jack Henry and Exception Advisor as necessary through Client Portal or other methods of communication available. Maintain Investor calendar on an annual basis within the SilverLake core processing system. Maintain the year-end 1098 tax reporting file, including completing file maintenances as needed, along with generating 1098 re-prints along with providing support with internal and external phone inquiries. Provide assistance to the Director and Assistant Director of Loan Operations with various loan reporting needs. Provide assistance to the Director of Loan Operations department with special projects including system conversions, system testing and new product coding. Performs all other duties that may be assigned.
Customer Relations: Works collaboratively with loan internal and external customers to provide service excellence while practicing the StellarOne core values.
Education, Skills and Experience Required/Desired:
Required – Associate or Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of three years experience in loan system and Query and or Cognos report writing. Excellent organizational, telephone etiquette, customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work accurately with detailed information. PC proficiency with working knowledge of Word and Excel. Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision. Ability to use good judgment and apply established policies and procedures.
