Portfolio Monitoring Specialist
Job Summary: Serves as a Portfolio Monitoring Specialist for the Centralized Underwriting Team. Works with the Portfolio Monitoring Team to ensure loans are processed in a timely manner. Provides assistance to Small Business and Consumer Relationship Managers regarding the need to obtain the necessary documents to process renewals or reviews. Performs duties to obtain required data or reports to complete the various portfolio monitoring analysis task. Provides and maintains a strong working knowledge of all system applications and business loan programs.
Essential Functions:
Credit Review- Investigates all available resources of credit and financial information, including reporting services. Collects financial statements, financial ratios, cash-flow data, collateral and related materials for monitoring analysis. Assists in developing reports for monitoring the business banking and consumer portfolios. Assists in the development and strategies of the portfolio monitoring program for both B2B and B2C loans including, but not limited to credit risk management. Performs all other duties that may be assigned.
Customer Services: Demonstrates the ability and willingness to provide knowledge and support to the line of business and assists in providing training whenever needed.
Education, Skills and Experience: Required- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance and/or a minimum of one year of lending experience. Basic understanding of financial statements, financial ratios, cash flow data and other credit information. Basic working knowledge of banking principles and federal lending regulations. PC proficiency with a working knowledge of Internet Explorer, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook applications. Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical decision-making skills. Ability to provide outstanding customer service. Ability to provide outstanding customer service. Ability to work accurately with detailed information in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred- Detailed knowledge of Banks Lending Guidelines.
