Assistant Director Loan Operations
Job Objective: Supervise mentors and coaches various teams within the Loan Operations department and provide assistance to the Director of Loan Operations as needed.
Essential Functions: Designate the percentage of time that applies to each essential function. 1. 70% Supervise, mentor and coaches various teams within the Loan Operations department, including but not limited to: Closing Team, Post Closing Team, Loan Building Team. Providing continual support for professional and technical growth to ensure accurate and efficient results. 2. 20% Administrative support to Director of Loan Operations, including but not limited to: Core loan system parameter support, review of various loan reports, assistance with various audits and budget reporting. Prepares various core system Query reports. Prepares staff performance reviews. 3. 10% Maintain customer relations with internal lending staff and provide external customer support when needed. Represent Loan Operations department by attending various loan committee meetings.
Performance Management: Documents employee performance throughout the work cycle. Provides timely and appropriate feedback/coaching as necessary. Plans for performance discussions, clarifies performance expectations, conducts performance reviews and recommends appropriate pay adjustments.

Compliance: Performs assigned responsibilities in compliance with all job-relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Maintains current operating knowledge of all job-relevant legal and regulatory requirements through the successful completion of mandatory compliance and regulatory training and attendance at all mandatory regulatory compliance activities.
Non-Essential Functions: Performs other duties that may be assigned.
Education, Skills and Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and/or a minimum of three years loan operation or lending experience and a minimum of three years of employee supervision. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written. Excellent time management and organization skills. Excellent telephone etiquette. Ability to work accurately with detailed information. Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision. Ability to use good judgement and apply established policies and procedures.
